Turtle Feeding At Pioneers Park

This afternoon we went and fed some turtles at Pioneers Park.  There was a massive snapping turtle there and a ton of little painter turtles.  HP really loves turtles since meeting our neighbor Keenan's pet turtle, Shipbo.  Yeah, it sounds like what you'd think it sounds when HP says it.  Oh well.

Hailey's First Doughnut

So we thought it would be fun to give Hailey the largest doughnut in all of SuperSaver.  So we did just that.  She got through about 3/4 of it before we took it away.

Big Girl Bed er...a...Big Boy Bed?

We converted lil huney's bed into a transitional bed yesterday and not only was she upset when we put her to bed, but she can now just leave when she wants.......which she did.  So, the only way she would calm down was if I was in there with her.  I started out just leaning in, but after a few minutes, crawled right in and got pretty comfortable.  Beth caught me after I fell asleep.

 

Children's Museum

Last weekend we went to the Lincoln Children's Museum with Grandma and Grandpa Dahline.  It was a sweet time.

Reading with Grampie

Grammy and Grampie are in town and after a bit of shyness, HP has really become comfortable.  She has been showing Grampie how to read and do puzzles.  

Office Painting

Well, what a weekend.  I got in a small car accident going to one of my finals.  No damage, but I didn't want to leave the scene since I didn't know the rules in NE.  Lame.  Then we had the unveiling of the new Child Guidance Website that we donated to Beth's agency right after my final.  Saturday we got the office ready for primer and painting.  We hated the blue and we are switching realtors so no better time than now to change it up.  Well, i'm tired, but here are a few snapshots of HP putting up tape (yes, it is on the wall), and she helped me put in some screws.  The last shot is the "pre-organized" new office.  It looks great we think.
